On August 2 and 3, our friends at Spoon University are hosting their first ever Brainfood Conference. The goal is to bring together college students from across the country for what they’re calling an “all you can eat buffet for skills”.  There will be plenty of great food to eat while students hear from industry leaders in food, media, entrepreneurship, and events. There is a BIG crowd already signed up, so they’ve taken over the entire AlleyNYC co-working space for the festivities.

Programming starts at 10am on Saturday and Sunday at AlleyNYC (500 7th Ave., 17th floor) with epic breakfast feasts provided by Chobani, Oren Coffee, Vitalicious and Doughnut Plant. Stick around for for lunch, which is fully catered both days. And finally, the days end at 6pm with a happy hour, thanks to Rekorderlig.

For college students, this event is great for networking, giving them actionable skills to help with everything from food photography to cleaning up their Facebook profiles. If you’re looking for an up to date list of the speakers for this event, including SquadUP at 4pm on Saturday (wink, wink), head over to http://spoonuniversity.com/brainfood-conference. And while you’re there, be sure to check out the rest of Spoon University’s newly redesigned website.

When you get tickets, use promo code “squadup” for 20% off!
