‘Cuse & Cornell
It was another solid week on college campuses for SquadUP, with an open bar at Cornell and a pre-bar event at Syracuse. What are we going to do when school’s out? Oh that’s right– our Summer Fellowship Program is the the premiere #NYC entrepreneurial experience. We’ve teamed up with our co-working/incubating space, AlleyNYC, and some of our top partners like Sumeria, Eventurously, and Spoon University, to provide our fellows with a unique opportunity to dive into the startup scene. We will also have a summer event series that will feature weekly happy hours, softball games (sloshball, really), rooftop soirees, and a booze cruise banger.
But as much as we want it to be, it’s not summer just yet. And our brand ambassadors at Cornell and Cuse aren’t quite ready to end the semester. Over 500 students had a blast at our campus events this week. But don’t take my word for it; the pictures we posted on Facebook (CU & SU) should be proof enough.
If you’re interested in the events space, marketing, business development or startup life in general, check out fellowship.squadup.com for more information about the program. It’s really a hybrid between learning and contributing. We have an amazing lineup of speakers, panels, crash courses, shadow days, and field trips to offices like Twitter, Google, and Venmo. Fellows will have the chance to see the direct impact of their work at SquadUP and that’s only the beginning. They’ll learn about dozens of other startups in the space, each with mentors looking for young, entrepreneurial standouts.
If you know somebody who may be interested in the position, send them the link or have them email austen@squadup.com for more information.
