Beer is probably the most convenient beverage to serve; unlike champagne, you can find it almost anywhere, and you don’t even have to use a glass to serve it (depending on, of course, the ambience of your gathering). There are also a ton of beers to choose from, from your comfortable, I-just-got-home-from-work-and-need-a-beer beer, to your fancy, subtle-undertones-of-oak-and-elderflower craft beer, there’s a beer for everybody.
As you’re revving into celebration mode this month, consider the merits of a good ol’ brewski as an offering to friends and guests.

The sheer variety! There are over 400 different types of beer, from well-known lagers and stouts to more obscure Rauchbeir, or smoked beers, and dry-hopped beers. It’s worth tasting a few to see what suits your palate.
