We're excited to announce the release of the free SquadUP mobile app, available in the iTunes app store. The app is the ideal mobile companion to provide hosts and guests with a complete event experience. It's not just about creating an event anymore. It's about sharing an experience.
The app streamlines buying tickets and checking in guests on-site, but those are table stakes for the event space and not the focus. The SquadUP app is about being a mobile first platform, letting our users access every aspect of the event experience right from their phones.
Our group chat feature allows attendees to share pictures and messages with one another without exchanging personal contact information, creating “flash networks” unique to each event. In just the first week of beta testing, the chat stands out as a game changing feature, drastically increasing guest engagement.
